LABELING REQUIREMENTS

All products thar are processed in Belize are required by law to be labeled .. Firms should verify that all of the following requirements are met.

1. Label must be depicted in English
2. Weight, volume, measurements specification or size
3. Operating instructions and with information on care, maintenance and precautions in use
4. Name and postal address of the manufacturer or packager of the goods
5. Country of manufacturer of origin
6. Product name
7. Brand name
8. List of ingredients
9. Batch/lot number
10. Date mark (date of manufacturer, best before date, sell-by-date, use-by-date)
